Guys. Guys. Guys. I knew there was a reason I still have a Hulu subscription. Fargo is now available to stream/binge-watch at night even though you have work in the morning.
I really, really enjoyed this show. FX’s adaptation of a movie I never would have thought needed to be adapted was deliciously, darkly comic and has the power to stand on its own. It was intense and kinda disturbing and the writing/acting was out-of-this-world good. I’m actually surprised that such a good show has been added to one of my least-used streaming sites (no shade Hulu, just saying – ya’ll need to quit with those frequent ass commercial breaks).
Even though I’ve already binge-watched Fargo (the old fashioned way – by renting it from a video store, what), I’m super psyched to re-watch it – and probably make a few people I know sit through it with me, because that’s what friends are for.
And now for some random things I loved about season 1: Billy Bob Thornton being scary AF, Molly existing as a cute, chubby intelligent woman, Keegan-Michael Key – of Key and Peele fame – having a beard, accents everywhere, Mr. Wrench and Mr. Numbers arguing like a married couple, Martin Freeman’s entire performance and the frequency with which he wears that giant orange puffy coat, cinematography that made me give a shit about cinematography, basically everything.
Seriously. Just go watch it.
